Our brand was born out of a deep longing to return to nature and to the beautiful simplicity of the past, just as we experienced it as children growing up in a village in Ethiopia. We grew up in the daily reality of a simple and wonderful village life, surrounded by the natural scent of cotton and the untamed beauty of the landscape. Back then, my father was a simple, hardworking man who crafted quality cotton fabrics by hand to make comfortable, everyday clothing, while my mother was right beside him, spinning raw cotton fibers into delicate threads for him to weave. Years later, we wanted to take that exact feeling, that connection to the earth, and those timeless family values, and bring them here into today's modern world. Today, we—their children—have chosen to keep this way of life alive out of a profound appreciation for the simple and wondrous power of nature. In a fast-paced world, we lovingly preserve the cotton creation process exactly as our parents did, bringing this honest, clean, and gentle craftsmanship into the world of babywear, offering minimal designs that focus on embracing your baby’s delicate skin.
